Founded in July of 1991, CENTURY 21 Burkett & Associates is a local real estate company with 2 offices in Eagle River, Wisconsin, and branch offices in Three Lakes, and Land O Lakes, Wisconsin. On June 18th, 1991, Jerry Burkett left an office where he had been a Broker Associate for seven years and, together with his wife, Jennifer, started Burkett and Associates, Inc. Five agents who had worked with Jerry joined the staff, and today the company has blossomed to four locations! January 2004 brought exciting changes to our company when we became part of the CENTURY 21® System to offer additional services to buyers and sellers, as well as a wealth of training for our agents.
The company is a leader in several property categories for sales every year through the statistics of the Greater Northwoods Multiple Listing Service on a local level, and has a strong background in the "local" business, as well as the busy tourist trade for secondary housing and retirement homes.
Today CENTURY 21 Burkett & Associates enjoys a strong position in the communities where they are located with sales at record levels, and a large inventory of properties. In-house training, daily communication, and a solid work ethic has created a company comprised of quality, hard working Brokers and Sales Associates who make every effort to service clients and customers. Eagle River is a small community of approximately 5,000 year-round residents within a ten mile radius, and a swelling during the summer months in excess of 100,000. Located on the "miracle mile", our office is on Pine Street, or Hwy 70 West, to the immediate west of Pizza Hut, McDonalds, and across from Subway. This high traffic location is ideal for name recognition and easy to find. We've recently opened a 2nd office location in Eagle River next to the Vilas Cinema on Wall Street in the downtown shopping area. This location is ideal for the 'walk-in' customers and offers excellent exposure for our sellers' properties.
Three Lakes is located in Oneida County, just 10 miles south of Eagle River on Highway 45. It's a charming community, serving as headquarters for the Three Lakes part of the 28 Lake Chain of Lakes. Our Three Lakes office is located on Highway 45 - Superior Street in the heart of downtown.
Land O'Lakes sits at the top of Vilas County on the Wisconsin/Michigan border and serves the Cisco Chain area as well as many other beautiful lakes. This community is home to the Ottawa National Forest Visitor's Center, the Sylvania Wilderness Tract, and the Cisco Chain of Lakes. Our office serving the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the Land O'Lakes area is located just south of the border on Highway B next to the golf course.
The four offices compliment each other daily, with cross sales between offices allowing four times the exposure for listings and a variety of locations for buyers.
